ALDOT advises motorists to expect restriping on the morning of Wednesday, May 13, to shift the northbound lane of SR-35 between Ryan Street and Scenic Drive in Section.
The contractor, Rogers Group, has been clearing the area on the northbound side of the road in preparation for widening and construction of the first half of a wider culvert under SR-35.

Next week, the contractor will install a concrete barrier along the edge of the highway.
The $9.6 million project will widen the three-lane highway to five lanes — two through lanes in each direction and a center turn lane — from Williams Street to north of Scenic Drive.
