On Monday, Aug. 17, contractors completed the demolition of the I-65 North rest area in Greenville.
With demolition complete, crews are clearing debris and preparing the site to build a larger, modernized facility designed to better accommodate travelers.

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will close the right lane on I-85 south, near exit 38 over SR-199 in Tuskegee on Wednesday, August 26, weather permitting.
