An Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) resurfacing project on SR-27 in Enterprise begins Monday, July 27, weather permitting.
The project will take place on SR-27 inside the Boll Weevil Circle.
Motorists should expect lane closures and reduced speed limits throughout the project. ALDOT urges drivers to plan accordingly and remain cautious around people and equipment in the work zone.
The approximately $1.3 million project was awarded to Southeast Construction Company, Inc., out of Geneva, Ala., who had the lowest bid that met the project requirements. The project is expected to be completed by Fall 2026.
