ALDOT proposes project to widen SR-167 from Enterprise to Troy

Nov 03, 2026

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will host a come-and-go style public meeting to discuss a potential project along SR-167 from Enterprise to Troy.

There will be two in-person meetings, and all information will be available online for those unable to attend in person.

The first meeting is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Enterprise Civic Center. The second meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. at God’s Way Baptist Church in Troy.

Attendees can view the same maps and speak to ALDOT representatives regarding the proposed project.  The same information will be available at both meetings so there is no need to attend both.

The proposed project focuses on improving hurricane evacuation operations along SR-167 from Salem Road in Enterprise to Spradley Drive in Troy by increasing roadway capacity with additional lanes.

The Enterprise Civic Center is located at 2401 Neil Metcalf Road in Enterprise, Alabama.

God’s Way Baptist Church is located at 1100 Elba Highway in Troy, Alabama.

All comments regarding this project must be submitted on or before Friday, Nov. 20, 2026.
