Motorists traveling on SR-13 (US-43) north of Creola should expect traffic impacts as crews continue bridge replacement work over Cold Creek.
The project uses Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC), a method that allows crews to build major bridge components off-site and install them more quickly, reducing overall construction time and minimizing traffic disruptions.

Traffic impacts
- Intermittent lane closures are now in effect
- Beginning Monday, June 15, 2026, crews will shift traffic to one lane in each direction while they replace the northbound bridge.

- Each bridge replacement is expected to take approximately six months.
- Once work on one bridge is complete, traffic will be shifted so crews can replace the bridge on the opposite side.
