The Alabama Department of Transportation has the inside lane closed at Exit 38 for bridge repairs.
The inside lane will be closed until repairs are completed, approximately one week.
The bridge railing was damaged during a crash in the early hours of Jan. 25.
Motorists should plan accordingly for delays and use alternate routes if possible. Drivers are advised to be cautious of workers and equipment in the work zone.
