An Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) resurfacing project on SR-123 in Dale County begins Monday, Feb. 10, weather permitting.
The project includes shoulder widening and resurfacing on SR-123 from Roy Parker Road in Ozark to SR-51 in Ariton.
Motorists should expect lane closures and reduced speed limits. ALDOT urges drivers to plan for possible delays and to be mindful of people and equipment in the work zone.
The approximately $4 million project was awarded to Wiregrass Construction Company, Inc., out of Dothan, which had the lowest bid that met the project requirements. The project is expected to be completed in summer 2025.
