An Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) resurfacing project on US-84 in Coffee County begins Wednesday, Feb. 12, weather permitting.
The project includes resurfacing on US-84 from Lawrence Drive in New Brockton to Boll Weevil Circle in Enterprise.
Motorists should expect lane closures and reduced speed limits. ALDOT urges drivers to plan for possible delays and to be mindful of people and equipment in the work zone.
The approximately $2 million project was awarded to Wiregrass Construction Company, Inc., out of Dothan, which had the lowest bid that met the project requirements. The project is expected to be completed in summer 2025.
