Beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, March 24, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will temporarily close White Oak Trail at the intersection of SR-160.
A signed detour will be in place utilizing White Oak Crossing.
- Eastbound traffic on SR-160 will proceed past the White Oak Trail / SR-160 intersection and turn left onto White Oak Crossing to access White Oak Trail.
- Westbound traffic on SR-160 will turn right onto White Oak Crossing to access White Oak Trail.
- Northbound traffic on US-31 will proceed east on SR-160 and turn left onto White Oak Crossing to access White Oak Trail.
- Southbound traffic on White Oak Trail will turn left onto White Oak Crossing to access SR-160.
The road closure and detour are anticipated to be in place until April 7, 2025.
Motorists should consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this Construction Operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.
