The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will host a come-and-go style public involvement meeting at Lafayette High School to discuss a potential project that will involve US-431 from SR-50 to CR-93.
The meeting is scheduled for today, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. where the public can ask questions and view exhibits regarding the proposed project.
ALDOT plans to resurface and perform a road diet on this approximately 3-mile stretch of the highway.
