The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will begin temporary lane closures for the Pike Road roundabout project on Tues., Sept. 2.
The lane closures will be at the I-85/SR-126/US-80 intersection to further progress the project. The lane closures will be in place nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. until work is complete, approximately three nights.
Access to and from I-85 will remain open but drivers should expect delays and seek an alternate route.
Travelers should adhere to the posted speed limit and remain mindful of people and equipment in the work zone.
