The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will implement rolling lane closures Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 29 and 30, to set girders on the future westbound bridge over Big Creek, part of the ongoing US-82 bridge replacement project in Coker.

Crews plan to place a total of 14 girders, with seven scheduled each day. Westbound traffic on US-82 will be stopped for a maximum of 15 minutes at a time during each girder placement.

No lane closures will take place before 8:30 a.m. or after 2:30 p.m. each day to limit delays. A state trooper will assist with traffic control.
