The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will host a come-and-go style public involvement meeting at the Springville Middle School to discuss a potential project on US-11 involving plans for roadway, drainage and sidewalk improvements.
The upgrades are proposed for the section of US-11 between New Talladega Road and Wilson Street.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. At this meeting, the public can ask questions and view project information and maps.
Construction is expected to begin in 2026 and cost approximately $3.5 million.
Springville Middle School is located at 6691 US Highway 11 Springville, Alabama 35146.
ALDOT is conducting an in-person public involvement meeting for the proposed project. All comments regarding this project must be submitted on or before October 31, 2025.
