This intelligent transportation system project on I-565 from Mooresville Road in Limestone County to U.S. 72 in Huntsville will add 10 traffic cameras, three dynamic message systems, and two weather stations for monitoring conditions and aiding traffic flow on the corridor.

Traffic cameras coming to I-565 in Madison County

Workers install a concrete pole on I-565 near Mooresville Road in Limestone County for a future traffic camera on Tuesday.

Poles for the first Alabama Department of Transportation traffic cameras on I-565 in Huntsville and Madison will go up this week.
