This is a project to replace the bridge on SR-247 over Cedar Creek in Franklin County. The new bridge is open to traffic, and the old bridge has been demolished. The contractor is completing final, minor work items.

This project is resurfacing about seven miles of US-431 from the Etowah County line to SR-75 in Albertville. All mainline through-lane paving is complete, and the contractor is currently paving crossovers, turn lanes, and intersection and driveway tie-ins.

Florence Boulevard Widening
This project will expand a two-mile segment of US-72/Florence Boulevard to six lanes from Indian Springs Drive to Sky Park Road east of Florence. The project is funded through a Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development grant obtained by Lauderdale County as well as a combination of state and other federal funding.
