Bids opened for I-65 resurfacing in Morgan County

ALDOT opened bids today for a project to resurface 23.4 miles of I-65, including the entirety of the interstate through Morgan County.

Of three bidders, contractor Rogers Group submitted the apparent low bid of $16,120,000. ALDOT anticipated bids between $14.7 and $17.9 million.

Crews to patch I-65N in Cullman County

ALDOT crews will perform asphalt patching and leveling Wednesday on I-65 northbound in Cullman County just north of the Blount County line.

Crews will close the northbound outside lane from south of Exit 291 (SR-91) to about milepost 294 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
