The Alabama Statewide Transportation Plan provides a long-range vision for the state's transportation system and helps guide investment decisions across all modes of transportation. ALDOT is updating the plan and encouraging public input through a series of regional public involvement meetings.
The Alabama Department of Transportation’s Southwest Region will host a transportation planning meeting on July 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. ALDOT encourages the public to attend, discuss and comment on the Statewide Transportation Plan (SWTP).
