The Alabama Department of Transportation plans to perform bridge maintenance on I-20/59 eastbound in Greene County near milepost 31 to improve mobility and safety.
The project is expected to begin Monday, August 5 and will continue for approximately 10 days, weather permitting. Crews will close the right lane to begin the work. Once the right lane is completed, crews will flip to the left lane.
Wide loads need to seek alternate routes. Motorists should expect possible delays and are encouraged to observe work-zone speed limits.
