Weather permitting, Sunday, August 18, the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will close the Cleburne welcome center. During the welcome center closure ALDOT will repair sections of the entrance ramp.
The work is anticipated to be ongoing for approximately eight hours. The welcome center will remain closed until work activities are complete.
Motorists are requested to observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this maintenance operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.
