The Alabama Department of Transportation is inviting the public to give input as it updates the Statewide Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan. This fall, the team leading the planning process will hold five public workshops across the state. The workshops will give people an opportunity to learn more about the plan and to share their perspective on bicycling and pedestrian needs.
The workshops will be conducted as open houses where members of the public are invited to ask questions, discuss the project with staff, and provide comments on elements of the plan.
Community members may attend the workshops any time between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
