The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Montgomery Branch recently transitioned its leadership, honoring Adam Holder, P.E., as outgoing president. They also welcomed a new leadership team, all civil engineers from the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT).
Holder significantly contributed to the branch by fostering professional development opportunities for members, supporting community initiatives and strengthening the organization. Holder is the Assistant State Utility Engineer at ALDOT.
The new leadership team, listed below, is poised to drive the branch forward:
- President: Dalton Chamblee, P.E., Assistant Location Manager
- Vice President: James Boyer, P.E., Deputy Local Transportation Bureau Chief
- Secretary/Treasurer: Sydney Metzler, P.E., Professional Civil Engineer I
- 1st Past President: Adam Holder, P.E., Assistant State Utility Engineer
- Branch Director: Michael Hora, P.E., Deputy State Office Engineer
