The Alabama Department of Transportation will begin temporary lane closures for the Pike Road roundabouts project beginning Sunday, Feb. 2, at 3 p.m. for milling operations.
The lane closures will end by 6:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, and resume at 6:00 p.m. Monday. The Monday night lane closure will end by 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4. No other lane closures are anticipated the remainder of the week.
While traveling through the construction zone, drivers should slow down, pay attention, and watch for construction equipment and vehicles entering and exiting the roadway.
