Daytime lane closures are scheduled for I-85 over Line Creek in Macon County on Tuesday, Feb. 11, weather permitting.
The closures, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., will affect both north and southbound lanes over Line Creek, about 2 1/2 miles north of Exit 16 (Waugh/Pike Road).
Crews will be installing raised pavement markers as part of the project to widen six bridges.
The lane closures will not occur simultaneously in both directions.
Motorists should expect delays and plan accordingly. Drivers should adhere to the reduced speed limit and be mindful of people and equipment in the work zone.
