Daytime lane closures are scheduled for I-85 over Line Creek in Macon County beginning Thursday, March 6, weather permitting.
Lane closures will not be permitted from 6 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes and 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes.
The lane closures are necessary to place the final wearing surface and advance the project.
Motorists should expect delays and plan accordingly. Drivers should observe the reduced speed limit and be mindful of people and equipment in the work zone.
