Beginning Tuesday, March 18, both northbound and southbound traffic on US-11 near Chamblee Avenue, northeast of Woodstock, will be reduced to a single lane in each direction as part of the ongoing bridge removal project.
Southbound traffic will be shifted to the northbound lanes for approximately five months. The southern entrance of Chamblee Avenue will be closed during this time.
All businesses in the area will remain accessible with one open driveway providing right-in, right-out access. Message boards will be in place to notify drivers of the new traffic pattern.
Motorists should use caution when traveling through the work zone.
