The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) plans to resurface a portion of State Route 28 in Livingston from the junction of US-11 to the junction of County Road 21.
The 5.9-mile project is expected to begin Monday, March 17 and will continue until late summer 2025, weather permitting. A pilot car will guide traffic through the work zone.
S.T. Bunn Construction Company was awarded the project at $2.48 million.
Motorists should expect possible delays and are encouraged to observe work-zone speed limits.
