ALDOT began a resurfacing project on I-85 in Montgomery early April.
The project includes resurfacing, guardrail installation, and traffic stripe on I-85 from Hall Street to Ann Street.
Crews will limit lane closures to Sundays through Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
ALDOT urges drivers to plan accordingly for possible delays and be mindful of people and equipment in the work zone.
The approximately $2 million project was awarded to APAC-Alabama, Inc., out of Birmingham, who had the lowest bid that met the project requirements. The project is expected to be completed in early fall 2025.
