The closure of the US-29 overpass at exit 64 in Opelika has been extended by approximately one week.
During the scheduled bridge rehabilitation work, crews identified additional maintenance needs that must be addressed to ensure long-term safety and performance. As a result, the closure will remain in effect while this work is completed.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for delays and consider alternate routes.
