Beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 22nd , weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will close the outside, right lane of US-280 westbound for asphalt patching between Milepost 2.0 and Milepost 2.5.
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 6 a.m. on Friday, May 23rd .
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes and adjust arrival/departure times. Motorists should also observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area.
