Beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will periodically close the southbound entrance and/or exit ramps at the I-65/SR-160 interchange to perform paving operations.
- The southbound ramps are expected to be re-opened by 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17.
- For the closure of the exit ramp from I-65 southbound, message boards will be in place to direct motorists to proceed to Exit 282 to detour back to I-65 northbound to exit onto SR-160 from I-65 northbound.
- For the closure of the I-65 southbound entrance ramp, message boards will direct motorists to use US-31 southbound. Motorists can enter I-65 southbound via Cane Creek Road, Old US-31, or service road.
These closures will also be in place on Wednesday, June 18, and Thursday, June 19.
