Beginning at 7 p.m. on July 27, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will close the right lane of US-280 westbound for widening between Milepost 1.39 and Milepost 4.51.
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 6 a.m. on Monday, July 28.
These same lane closures will be in place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Monday, July 28, through Friday August 1.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area.
