The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will host a come-and-go style public involvement meeting at Ranburne Town Hall to discuss a potential project that will involve SR-46 from CR-620 to the Georgia State Line.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 29, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. where the public can ask questions and view exhibits regarding the proposed project.
ALDOT plans to resurface and perform a road diet on this approximately 10-mile stretch of the highway.
Construction is expected to begin in late fall of 2025 and will take approximately 1 to 2 years to complete. The estimated construction cost is approximately $3.5 million.
Ranburne Town Hall is located at 21459 Main Street, Ranburne, Alabama 36273.
ALDOT is conducting an in-person public involvement meeting for the proposed project. All comments regarding this project must be submitted on or before August 15, 2025.
