An ALDOT resurfacing project on US-331 in Luverne begins Wednesday, August 27.
The project on US-331 from Richburg Hill Road to Fourth Street in Luverne includes resurfacing and traffic striping.
Travelers should expect lane closures and adhere to the posted speed limit throughout the project. ALDOT urges drivers to plan accordingly for delays and be mindful of people and equipment in the work zone.
The $949,920.86 project was awarded to Wiregrass Construction Company, Inc., out of Dothan, Ala., who had the lowest bid that met the project requirements. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
