Beginning Tues., Sept. 2, crews will begin installing signs for an Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) project on I-65 in Montgomery.
The project will include work on the I-65 north and south exit ramps at exit 168 (South Boulevard).
The project will install concrete pavement on both ramps.
Lane closures are possible on the exit ramps throughout the length of the project.
Travelers should expect delays and plan accordingly and be mindful of people and equipment in the work zone.
The $2.5 million project was awarded to Grout, Inc., out of Hope Hull, Ala., who had the lowest bid that met the project requirements.
The project is expected to be completed in Spring 2026.
