Resurfacing of US-72 East in Madison County will begin the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 2.
Rogers Group, the contractor on the $4 million project, will work from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday nights.
ALDOT advises motorists to expect single-lane closures and possible delays. Approaching the work zone, please reduce speed and prepare to merge.
The project includes milling and resurfacing of about 6.5 miles of US-72 East from Moores Mill Road in Huntsville to east of the Flint River.
