The Bibb Graves Bridge in downtown Wetumpka is reopened ahead of schedule.
The bridge had been closed to traffic since Tuesday, Sept. 2 to make repairs that were sustained on Aug. 15.
ALDOT awarded the contract for repairs to Newell & Bush, Inc., out of Montgomery, Ala., who completed the job in four days.
ALDOT appreciates the patience and cooperation of travelers in Wetumpka and the support from local law enforcement.
