The Auburn District is pretreating bridges with potassium acetate, and intersections/steep grades with calcium magnesium acetate and sand/CMA mixture where needed.
They will start with Randolph County and work their way back into South Chambers and Lee Counties as the evening progresses.

The Oneonta District has spot-treated all interstates, U-S Highways and state routes in St. Clair County.
In Blount County, they focused their treatment on I-65, US-31, US-278, US-231 and SR-160.

Flash flooding on I-65 northbound led to multiple accidents at Lakeshore Parkway Sunday morning.
Significant pooling of water began around 9:00 a.m., prompting vehicles to hydroplane or pull over.
So far, there are no reported injuries.
Birmingham District crews are on the scene and right now the left lane remains closed.
