Nighttime resurfacing of four miles of US-431 in Albertville will begin the evening of Sunday, June 14, weather permitting.

Rogers Group, the contractor on the $3 million project, will mill and pave the divided four-lane highway from south of SR-75 at Miller Street to Brashers Chapel Road.

Nightly lane closures

Motorists should expect single-lane closures from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly, Sunday nights through Thursday nights. Please expect delays in the evenings. For real-time traffic updates visit ALGOTraffic.com.

A subcontractor will install signs for the project next week.

ALDOT anticipates completion in late summer or early fall.
