The contractor for an Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) resurfacing project began installing cable rail and making repairs to damaged guardrail on US-80 in Phenix City today.

Crews will be working on US-80 from US-280 to the Chattahoochee River Bridge. Work is expected to take approximately two to three weeks.

An Alabama Department of Transportation project to modify the intersection of US-431 and SR-26 in Seale, begins Monday, Aug. 18, weather permitting.

The project will modify the intersection of US-431 and SR-26 into a restricted crossing U-turn intersection (RCUT).

The project will take place on SR-223 from US-29 to the Bullock County line.

The US-31 and McQueen Smith Road intersection in Prattville will have a change in traffic pattern beginning Monday, July 21.

McQueen Smith Road will temporarily be a right in and right out at the US-31 intersection. This traffic pattern should be in place for approximately one week.
