ALDOT beginning access management project on US-231 in Troy

Entire project limits of the US-231 access management project from SR-87 to Industrial Park Boulevard in Troy.

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will begin an access management project along US-231 in Troy from Elba Highway (SR-87) to Industrial Park Boulevard on Monday, Dec. 2, weather permitting.

ALDOT implements access management on Cobbs Ford Road

All lanes of I-85 south at Line Creek reopened

Crews work on rehabiliting existing bridge deck on I-85 South over Line Creek in Macon County

All lanes on I-85 South at Line Creek have been reopened earlier than anticipated. Crews began work on the southbound lanes on Sunday, Nov. 3 expecting 18 days to complete the work.

The contractor had multiple crews working around the clock to open all lanes about a week ahead of schedule.

All lanes on I-85 North at Line Creek are now reopen.

All lanes on I-85 northbound at Line Creek have been reopened. Crews will continue working on southbound lanes for up to 18 days.

The project remains active, and intermittent lane closures will likely occur during evening hours until the project’s completion.

Pike Road roundabout construction begins

Starting this Monday, October 14, construction will begin to install two new roundabouts in Pike Road.  These roundabouts will be installed at the intersections of SR-126 and US-80 and Marler Road and US-80.

This project is a joint effort between the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) and the Town of Pike Road.
