ALDOT to assume ownership of Beach Express Bridge on May 23

ALDOT crews remove storm debris from SR-40 between SR-71 and SR-75 in Jackson County.

ALDOT and other responders worked Thursday to clear highways in Jackson and DeKalb counties following overnight storms and a tornado.

Contractor employees remove traffic control to open all lanes on I-85 North at Wrights Mill Road.

All lanes on the I-85 North are open to traffic at Wright Mills Road bridge.

The outside lane has been closed since last week as the contractor made repairs to the Wrights Mill Road bridge.

Contractor makes repairs to the Wrights Mill Road bridge.

Repairs to the damaged Wrights Mill Road bridge continued throughout the weekend.
