Huntsville Brownsferry Road Widening

The old road has been removed and is prepared for paving.

This project is constructing additional lanes, turn lanes, intersection improvements, and interchange ramp modifications, including grading, drainage, pavement, bridge removal, bridges, bridge culvert, traffic stripe, and traffic signals on SR-304 (Old CR-24) from west of US-31 at Tanner to east of the I-65 Exit 347 interchange in Athens. The eastbound lanes have been constructed and are now carrying traffic (one lane in each direction) while the original, two-lane road undergoes removal and reconstruction to become the future westbound lanes.
