The I-59 widening project in Trussville is shifting into its next significant phase.

Starting on Monday, May 18, weather permitting, ALDOT will close both I-59 northbound ramps at Chalkville Mountain Road (Exit 141).  

The contractor is incentivized to reopen the entrance and exit ramps within 40 days.
