The Alabama Department of Transportation plans to resurface, install guardrail and place new traffic striping on a portion of I-20/59 from near the CR-20 underpass to near Exit 40 in Greene County to improve mobility and safety.
The 7.5-mile project is expected to begin and will continue until the end of the year, weather permitting….

The 6.6-mile project will take place from the US-80 and State Route 17 interchange to west of Pine Street Northeast.

Safety widening, resurfacing, guardrail installation and traffic striping on US-31 from the junction of Inverness Drive in Clanton to the junction of Collins Street in Thorsby. Additionally, US-31 will be restriped from the existing four lanes to three lanes from just north of Cherokee Road to Medical Center Drive.
