The Auburn District is pretreating bridges with potassium acetate, and intersections/steep grades with calcium magnesium acetate and sand/CMA mixture where needed.
They will start with Randolph County and work their way back into South Chambers and Lee Counties as the evening progresses.

Weather permitting, Sunday, August 18, the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will close the Cleburne welcome center. During the welcome center closure ALDOT will repair sections of the entrance ramp.
The work is anticipated to be ongoing for approximately eight hours. The welcome center will remain closed until work activities are complete.
