Work will begin Thursday to install new signal poles and other signal upgrades at SR-69 and Sunset Drive in Guntersville.

Work to install new signal upgrades at SR-69 and Sunset Drive in Guntersville will begin Thursday, Feb. 19, weather permitting.

The work will take just a few days. ALDOT anticipates little impact on traffic.

The planned signal upgrades include new poles, mast arms, signal heads, pedestrian

The US-82 and US-431 intersection relocation in Eufaula begins tomorrow, October 1.

The primary purpose of the project is to enhance safety along the corridor. Currently, US-82 intersects US-431 at a 45-degree angle; this project will reconfigure the intersection to a 90-degree angle. The new roadway will also feature wider shoulders, including two-foot paved shoulders.
