CSX plans rail crossing closure on SR-117
On the official detour, traffic will be rerouted into Tennessee, through South Pittsburg and Sewanee, then back into Alabama.
CSX will close the railroad crossing on SR-117 in the Bass Community of Jackson County from 6 a.m. Saturday, July 20, to the evening of Sunday, July 21.
