A Continuous Green T (CGT) intersection is a specialized traffic intersection design for three-way (T-shaped) intersections.

These intersections enhance safety and efficiency, allowing traffic on the main roadway to flow continuously through the intersection with a green light. This eliminates the need for stops and reduces overall delays facilitating free-flow movement.

Entire project limits of the US-231 access management project from SR-87 to Industrial Park Boulevard in Troy.

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will begin an access management project along US-231 in Troy from Elba Highway (SR-87) to Industrial Park Boulevard on Monday, Dec. 2, weather permitting.

Crews work on rehabiliting existing bridge deck on I-85 South over Line Creek in Macon County

All lanes on I-85 South at Line Creek have been reopened earlier than anticipated. Crews began work on the southbound lanes on Sunday, Nov. 3 expecting 18 days to complete the work.
