Access management project begins on US-231 in Wetumpka to increase safety

An Alabama Department of Transportation project to replace the bridge over Blue Gurth Swamp on SR-14 in Dallas County will begin with sign and traffic control installation on Monday, February 12, weather permitting.

ALDOT project on Alabama Highway 51 in Dale County begins Monday

An Alabama Department of Transportation project on Alabama Highway 51 in Dale County will begin Monday, January 29, weather permitting.

The project will consist of resurfacing and shoulder widening on Alabama Highway 51 from U.S. Highway 231 to the Barbour County line.

There will be lane closures and a reduced speed limit throughout the project.

Bridge project on Alabama Highway 52 over Chattahoochee River begins soon

An Alabama Department of Transportation project to rehabilitate the bridge deck of the bridge on Alabama Highway 52 over the Chattahoochee River in Columbia into Georgia will begin Monday, November 20, weather permitting.
