Traffic will be detoured while contractors demolish and replace the bridge on SR-247 over Little Bear Creek in Franklin County.

Mastin Lake Road in Huntsville will be partially closed for paving near North Memorial Parkway on Sunday night and Monday night. One lane will remain open to traffic in each direction for most of the operation, though those lanes may be temporarily blocked by the paving crew at times.

Expect lane closures on Mastin Lake Road at North Memorial Parkway (US-231/US-431) in Huntsville on two upcoming nights.

Mastin Lake Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction from 8 p.m. Sunday to about 5 a.m. Monday and again from 8 p.m. Monday to about 5 a.m. Tuesday.

The contractor on the I-65 Tennessee River Bridge rehabilitation project made significant progress during around-the-clock lane closures the last two weekends. Cekra completed concrete repairs to the northbound bridge deck far ahead of schedule.

To rehabilitate the Tennessee River Bridges, the contractor, Cekra, first rigged scaffolding to access work areas.

Motorists should expect single-lane closures for rehabilitation work on the northbound I-65 Tennessee River Bridge each weekend in October, beginning this Friday.
